Changing Screen Resolutions on FHD Display

Hey!

Currently having issues displaying other resolutions that the FHD Display states that it is capable of handling. Is this a hardware limitation or software with the firmware of the display? Using “xrandr,” I can see the following possible screen configurations:

Summary

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ xrandr
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1920 x 1080, maximum 7680 x 7680
HDMI-1 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 1214mm x 683mm
1920x1080____60.00*+__59.94____30.00____29.97
1920x1080i____60.00___50.00____59.94
1280x720_____60.00____50.00____59.94
640x480______60.00____59.94

Also, I find it somewhat comical that the display claims that it is over a meter wide :grimacing::crazy_face:

Some help would be great as I’d like to use this with dosbox-x to run a win98 vm without the performance hit from having a larger screen. It isn’t terrible, and it is manageable by running in windowed mode but I’m using it for jumpstart kindagarten to get my kid playing on it when I’m not using the pi-top. He likes to click out of the window and start messing with other things :man_facepalming:t2:

@Supernovali I’ll get one of the guys to look into this now and see what the problem is - will let you know if it’s a hardware limitation or not :+1:
