I’m trying to run the latest libreelec for RPi4 (LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-9.2.6.img.gz) on my pi-top.
All looks good except of the sound. I cannot get any sound through the HDMI connection (using tue pi-top special USB to HDMI cable plus connector) to my TV.
Is there a way to enable it?
When using pi-topOS sound through HDMI it works just fine …

Instead of using LibreELEC you should consider installing the Kodi media center on pi-topOS from the Add/Remove Software application in the Preferences section of the app menu.
