I am in the process of getting my devices up to date for the upcoming school year and have noticed that when you run the OS Updater it seems to somehow “disable/break” wifi. If I plug directly in via ethernet all is find. After the updates, I cannot seem to get the wifi enabled again. In one instance it’s disappeared from the system tray and cannot be added back.
hi @jimn1028!
a few questions to try to determine what the issue is:
- what device are you using? (pi-top [4], pi-top[3], …)
- what OS are the devices running? (pi-topOS, Raspberry Pi OS)
- what version of the OS? (pi-topOS bullseye, pi-topOS sirius, Raspberry Pi OS bookworm …)
Pi-top4, bullseye.
Flashed a new memory card and started from scratch as there was not anything needing salvage. All good now.
