I got the prompt on boot that updates were available, so I told my Pi-Top 4 to go ahead. There were a lot (I haven’t updated in a while), and the process ran and seemed to complete successfully. Now on Sirius Build C790.
On the next boot, it prompted that there were updates available again. So I told it to go ahead again - but it reported 0 updates available. And again the next time, same thing.
So I ran the Pi-TOP OS Software update from the menu, It reports:
"[09:52:29.135827 I] Listing updates…
Updates available to install:
‣ code // Code editing. Redefined.
Press to install these updates, or any other key to cancel (I press Enter)
An error occcurred during the upgrade. You will be prompted to update again later, but if this problem persists, please contact pi-top support."
Same thing every time. Or if I let the update go ahead automatically:
"UPGRADING - DO NOT CLOSE THIS WINDOW
[10:09:55.760562 I] Installing updates…
Reading package lists…
Building dependency tree…
Reading state information…
Calculating upgrade…
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Cleaning up…"
No error messages are found in the system log. It just says “pt-firmware-images is not upgradable”
Any ideas? What does it want?
