Pi-top software update issue

Hi - am unable to update my Pi-Top Polaris OS software due to repository access issue - see following

pi@pi-top:~ $ sudo apt-get update
Err:4 https://apt.pi-top.com/pi-top-os stretch Release

any advice welcomed - thanks

you can get the latest pi-topOS image from here, it updates without issue. I just setup a new SD card for ROS only stuff

https://www.pi-top.com/products/os

Thanks - guess that will reset any customised setup but for sure a workaround if all else fails

will need to reflash the SD card i am afraid

hey @larry, pi-topOS Polaris is no longer supported; if you want to get the latest updates for your pi-top, please upgrade to pi-topOS Sirius. You can download it in https://www.pi-top.com/products/os

Thanks - I guess that’s the root of my issues - beginning to feel like an MS Windows scorched earth upgrade strategy

Solved - up and running with Sirius build C781, fully updated on second attempt

Thanks again folks

There is no sudo apt dist-upgrade -y ? I am stuck too as my pi-top shipped with the outdated o/s  and I was not aware of that fact. Just got it yesterday and customized it, only to find out.
