My kid has pi-top and lego, we bought Raspberry Pi Build HAT but seems to be, that build hat is messing with Pi-TOP any recommendations how to fix it ?
Hi could you post a link to the build hat you are using so we are all on the same page, as well as provide some more details on how it’s messing with pi-top so the pi-top community can try to help you out.
@xerox2k4 Sorry for not being clear from the beginning I am referring to https://core-electronics.com.au/raspberry-pi-build-hat.html
My guess is the build hat barrow plug is designed to power both the build hat and the raspberry pi, and since the pi-top already has an internal power supply that is the point of conflict. Just as a test try connecting the bottom of the build hat to the top of the pi-top with dupont wires (instead of plugging it into the pitop directly) omitting power and ground and see if it works without transferring power to the pitop
these are the pins the build hat uses for communication.
