I’m trying to watch videos for my summer school course on my Pi-Top 3, and I can’t hear anything because the sound output has stopped working. The speaker device I am using is the Pi-Top Pulse, but when I try unplugging/plugging it back in and restarting the computer, it does show up as an output in the Dashboard sound menu, but it still does not work.
When I slide open the keyboard to watch the startup process, I notice that the red light on the underside of the pulse turns on for the boot screen, and then switches off automatically when the Dashboard loads. I try turning up the Dashboard and Desktop volume settings, which are all muted by default, but when I try to play the videos I’m supposed to watch for my class, the sound still does not work.
I’m trying to see if the sound output was damaged by a command run in Terminal, but I still don’t know for sure. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?
